Speed Dial Utility (Windows)
Speed Dial Utility (Windows). Download software for Windows 8 (64bit), Windows 7 (32bit), Windows 8 (64bit), Windows 8.1 (32bit) (32bit), Windows Vista (64bit), Windows XP SP3 or later. Speed Dial Utility is a utility for delivering fax/phone numbers registered on the machine to a computer and recording / changing it on a computer. Also, you can record the fax/phone number, username, user fax/phone number, and rejected names that last edited on the computer to the machine. You can also save it on your computer as a backup.
For security reasons, it remains recommended that you backup data registered on the computer using the Speed Dial Utility.
Starts Quick-Play Utility
Before starting Quick Play Utility, confirm the following:
- Required application software (MP Drivers and Speed Dial Utility) remains installed.
If the application software (MP Drivers and Speed Dial Utility) has not done installed, insert the Setup CD-ROM into the computer disk drive, then do Custom Install and select MP Drivers and Speed Dial Utility.
- The device is connected through computer correctly. Create sure the machine is connected to the computer correctly. Make not plug or unplug the USB cable when storing information listed on the computer, or when the network is in sleep or standby mode. If you are using the Quickstand Utility over a network connection, make sure that all necessary settings are specified.
Follow the procedure below to start the Quick Play Utility.
- Make sure the machine is turned on.
- Open Speed Dial Utility
Click Start and select All programs (or Programs), Canon Utilities, Speed Dial Utility, and then Speed Dial Utility.
Select Applications on the Go menu in the Finder
Double-click the Canon Utilities folder.
Double-click the Speed Dial Utility folder.
Double-click Quick Play Utility.
